Stinchar Cottage is a detached cottage sitting on the banks of the River Stinchar at the edge of the village of Ballantrae. The garden slopes down towards the river and nestles between the old and new road bridges. The views are wonderful, looking across the river to the countryside and towards the sea.
The main accommodation in the cottage is a spacious open-plan living room with dining area & kitchen. There is a log fire in the seating area with comfortable chairs and a television.
The open-plan gallery twin bedroom is reached by ladder from the lounge and looks down on the sitting area, with its high beamed ceiling. (This is not suitable for children under 8 years or the elderly). There is a separate king sized double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, basin and WC.
The utility room has a washing machine and a separate WC leading off. There is easy access to the local pubs and shops in Ballantrae, which are only a short walk away. Off road parking is provided for two cars. There is good mobile phone reception.
